ESS Ecology provide affordable, impartial advice on all aspects of ecology across the UK offering you tailored ecological services which cover initial screening and scoping studies, design and implementation of mitigation schemes (including provision of an ecological clerk of works) and habitat / species management plans and any post-construction monitoring, we also have the capacity to act as expert witnesses at public inquiry.

Our work includes habitat and species specific surveys (terrestrial, freshwater and marine) ranging from individual protected species surveys (bat, great crested newt, badger, otter, water vole, birds, reptiles and amphibians), to full Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA). Other services include phase 1 / extended phase 1 habitat surveys, NVC surveys, marine ecology (sea bird and marine mammals), invertebrate studies, tree surveys and BREEAM assessments.
